Objectives:

AVCC is to provide social, cultural and recreational facilities to its members and will function as an autonomous social welfare Institution registered under Registration of Society Act 1860.

AVCC may also provide Community facilities as available to other residents at the discretion of the Management. The ownership of all AVCC properties, moveable and immovable, shall rest with the AVCC.

The Management Committee of AVCC shall hold all the Community Center Property in trust for AVCC and shall be responsible for the insurance, maintenance, repairs, up keep and such other care as may be necessary to preserve the same.

All the provisions of the Society Registration Act will apply. AVCC may derive funds from its members as subscription charges, rents and license fee, donations, grants and loans without mortgaging any property of AVCC and without creating any liability and lien against the property or assets of AVCC.

Administrative Functions:

The Management of AVCC shall vest in the Management Committee of AVCC and shall be administered in accordance with these rules. The internal affairs of AVCC and the conduct of its members shall be regulated in accordance with the rules and Bye-Laws laid down from time to time.

Membership:

AVCC shall consist of the following classes of Members:-

Social & Cultural Activities in AVCC

Arun Vihar Community Centre generally perform many of the following functions in their communities:

• As the place for all-community celebrations at various occasions and traditions.
• As the place for public meetings of the Arun Vihar Residents on various issues.
• As the place where senior govt. officials come to meet the members and ask for their opinions, support and other kinds of requests.
• As a place where community members meet each other socially.
• As a place housing community library and volunteer activities for community development.
• As a place that community members (and sometimes others), can rent at reasonable rates when a private family function or party is too big for their own home. For instance the non-religious parts of weddings, funerals, etc.
• As a place that passes on and retells local history.
• As a place where local non-government activities are organized.
• As a community venue for entertainment.
• As a place of relief in instances of community tragedies.

• Air Conditioned Main Hall (Banquet Hall) equipped with Public Address System having seating capacity of 100 persons.
• Air Conditioned Party Hall with seating capacity of 20 persons
• Air Conditioned Library with seating capacity of 60 persons including the Internet Café Area.
• Air Conditioned Conference Room equipped with Laser Projector and Public Address System having seating capacity of 90 persons.
• Kailash open auditorium equipped with Public Address System having seating capacity of 500 persons.
• 08 Air conditioned guest rooms fully furnished with attached bathroom for accommodating two persons in each room.
• Air conditioned 02 Bridal Rooms fully furnished with attached bathrooms.
• Air conditioned O2 Multi-purpose Hall with attached bathrooms for marriage purpose to accommodate the guests in large numbers.

Two massive sizes well-built and well organized Kitchens for hosting large size parties.

• 02 huge size lush green lawns in front of guest rooms for holding outdoor parties and functions.

• 01 huge large size lush green lawn in front of AVCC Administration block for holding functions of utmost high end. Given to the applicant only after the approval of the President AVCC.

• Two heavy duty diesel generating sets having total capacity of 200 KVA output.
• Office of Management Staff in the Administration Block to cater and attend to the requirements of daily schedule and venue booking.

• Office of the AVCC Management Committee Members in the Administration Block.
• Indian Overseas Bank in the AVCC Premises.
